- 1/4kg gizzards
- 2 Tbspn tomato paste
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 2 Cups chicken stock
- 3 Potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 Tbspn butter
- Salt and pepper
- Wheat flour for dusting the gizzards
Method
1. Slice the onion and fry it in butter.
2. Add paprika
3. Cut the gizzards into two and dust them with flour.
4. Season them with salt and pepper and fry them and set aside.
5. Separately, dice your potatoes and par-boil them.
6. In the same pan used for frying the gizzards, add onions and fry with the remaining butter to make gravy.
7. Add the tomato paste, half of the sour cream and thicken it with flour and stir them well.
8. Add the potatoes and gizzards and stew them for 1 hour, 10minutes and before serving, add the remaining part of the sour cream.
9. Serve hot with rice.
